		Topaz
		A topaz, it is said, can drive away sadness, strengthen the intellect, bestow courage, and even cure insomnia. Once the name given to all yellow gems, true golden topaz is labeled "Imperial". "Precious" topaz may be yellow, golden-brown, blue, green, pink or sherry-colored. Brazil is one of the most important sources of this stone, which is sometimes heated or irradiated to deep golden tones, to intensify pinks, or to create a blue color similar to aquamarine.
