		What is Mikimoto’s Grading System? Each pearl harvested is as different and individual as a fingerprint. Mikimoto grades the pearls based on nacre thickness, surface imperfections, shape, and color. Mikimoto's pearl grading system starts at A1 and ends with AAA, being the best. The Mikimoto quality ranges from A1, A, A+, AA, and AAA.
